New website checklist

Creating a new WordPress website? Use the following checklist!

1. Themes> Install “Hello” from Elementor
2. Delete other themes
3. Install Elementor & Elementor Pro > Connect to your Account
4. ManageWP install + Connect to Acc + Activate free backup
5. Create a Home page + Settings > Reading > A static page > Home
6. WordPress > Settings > Media > Delete all sizes & Uncheck all checkmarks
7. EL Site Settings > Layout > Default Page Layout > Elementor Full Width
8. SG Optimizer (turn on recommended stuff)
9. SG Security > Login Security > Custom login URL > Put link in sheet
10. SG Security > Activity Log > Weekly reports > Delete email from notifications
11. “Elementor > Settings > Disable Default Colors & Disable Default Fonts “
12. Elementor > Settings > Advanced > Unfiltered File Uploads > Enable
13. Elementor > Settings > Advanced > Google Fonts > Disable
14. Elementor > Settings > Experiments > Optimized DOM Output > Active
15. Elementor > Settings > Experiments > Improved CSS Loading > Active
16. Elementor > Settings > Experiments > Default to New Theme Builder > Inactive
17. WordPress > Settings > Permalink > Postname
18. Elementor > Custom Fonts > Upload the fonts with the widths you want to use
19. Elementor Site Settings > Global colors setup
20. Elementor Site Settings > Global Fonts > Custom Fonts (Add H1-H7, only fonts and line height, no sizes)
21. Elementor Site Settings > Typography > Link > Color > Accent
22. Elementor Site Settings > Buttons > Typography, Bg, color, radius, padding
23. Elementor Site Settings > Site Identity > Upload Site logo and Site icon
24. Elementor Site Settings > Background > Setup color only if your main bg color isn’t white
25. Elementor Site Settings > Layout > Put padding on 0
26. Elementor Site Settings > Custom CSS > Add font css, connect the Global codes
27. Convert all your images to webp > https://bulkresizephotos.com/en
28. Create separate cropped image for mobile if it’s a background image
29. Plugin > Phastpress > Leave defaults, Only Turn off: Lazy load, Load scripts asynchronously
30. Plugin > WPMeteor > Slider to right > Save
